When a man becomes a fireman his greatest act of bravery has been accomplished. What he does after that is all in the line of work. ~Edward F. Croker

Random

Okay so here is a random post at 5 A.M. I have had some big life changes in the past few weeks some good and some not so good. I'm a firm believer of everything happens for a reason. GOD works in mysterious ways. He has a plan for us all and he can open doors he wants to open and close doors he wants to close. He give us opportunity and lets us do as we please. Now I know if you knew me this coming from me sounds strange cause Carson in not usually well for lack of a better phrase a "Good Christian" but seeing since nobody even reads my blog anyway this wont matter. I just remind myself is that everything happens for a reason and continue to keep my chin up and remember I can do anything though him who gives me strength!

FEB.

Did I ever mention how much I hate this month. I guess that is has been 11 years ago since we lost my grandma Faulkner. OH how I miss her voice and the joy she brought to us kids when she came up. I can still remember the weekends she would come up she would always bring a gallon of Sunny-D. It may have been 11 years but I still remember you as if it were yesterday you are missed so dearly! This month is also stupid cause of the length of it who puts 28 days in a month really who does that, lol....

January 11'

Well since my last post lots have happened. I have started class for my firefighter part 1 and 2 certification. Which the first 60 hours cant be done soon enough. Also our dept. is going through officer training. I have finally signed up for my GOAL classes at the tech. where I have changed my major from associate degree paramedic to Medical assistant which is a one year degree. This past Monday I put my truck up for sail on craigslist and needless to say by Thursday the truck was sold. I will miss my truck but I wont miss the gas mileage it got.

Quick Catch up!

Wow 9 days till Christmas well here's the catch up since my last post. In the past month I left PDQ and have started working at goodwill in Waupaca as a donations attendant. Shortly after being hired at goodwill I got a phone call from the Weyauwega fire department telling me that I was voted on and will receive my pager in January. As for now the Monday after Christmas i go get my bunker gear and my first meeting will be January 3rd and I will start my classes two days later on the 5th. It sure took a while to get here but I am very happy to be on and am hoping this meant things are looking up for my future.

OVERLOAD

Well its tree days till the opening morning of the gun deer season and for the second year in a row I will not be going. With no sign of mom coming home for thanksgiving dad and I a have no clue what were doing for thanksgiving. It seems that in the past couple of weeks I have had too much on my mind and I don't even know what to do at the moment it seems as if i have a dysfunctional family. I guess I have on thing to look forward to is starting school this spring so I can further my education and start my career as a paramedic and im also looking forward to the phone call Ive been waiting for, for 5 months im waiting for the Fire dept i guess i have to be patient
